Maya Reign, the Manchester-based alt-R&B artist, releases new single “Ocean Floor” on 14 August 2026 — a spacious, unforced record born from a year away from music.
Recorded live in one room with a three-piece band and no click track, the track keeps the looseness of its original demo. Where her earlier work leaned on layered production, “Ocean Floor” leaves the space in: a bass that breathes, brushed drums, and a vocal recorded in a single pass.
